Negotiating a contract, be it to buy, sell or lease a property, is an important part of property ownership. The outcome of these negotiations can sometimes mean the difference between profitable ownership, or otherwise.
Experience has taught me that to have an intermediary advocate between the parties acting on your behalf, ensures a greater chance of success.
I find that this new role has provided for me the challenges, variety and satisfaction I felt when I first started City Commercial.
Face to face negotiations between the two principal parties of a transaction can sometimes lead to a hardening of position being taken, or snap decisions being made. Once this happens, it is hard to go back. By introducing a 3rd party advocate, a strategy can be created and "played out" during the negotiation process ensuring that you can gain the maximum outcome and position that you desire.
Property negotiations can be complex, with many factors impacting on the outcome. I have learnt that while the dollar value of a deal is important, focusing just on that one outcome can, at times, lead to the breakdown of many negotiations. For this reason, it can often be beneficial to know about and negotiate on what can be other, more obscure details of the transaction, that can provide you with additional value and benefits.
I have had many years of experience in this field, conducting hundreds of successful negotiations and I would welcome the opportunity to assist you with yours.
